HOW TO GROW YOUR MULTIPLATFORM BRAND: THE ONE STEP SYSTEM TO NEVER GET OFF COURSE
When creating a multiplatform brand, there is only one key rule:
NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE CORE MESSAGE.
Multiplatform brands are all based around one core message or idea and then delivered to the audience in various mediums.
The execution of the brand is only limited by your creativity and the core belief.
And that is where most people mess up. They begin to slowly lose track of what this core belief is about. They don’t fully, 100% understand the ideology and therefore don’t realize until it is too late and damage has already been done that the mistake has been made.
To make sure this doesn’t happen to the multiplatform brands I build, I have created an easy system modified from my Sole Target goal setting approach.
On one sheet of paper, write your current known message in the middle.
2. At the top of the page write all the positive affects or outcomes by following or doing your ideology creates
3. At the bottom of the page, write the negative by not taking action.
4. To the left of the page write the current areas of life your ideology will affect when they begin
5. To the right write the future areas of life that working and living your ideology will create.
Use the space in between to fill the page up with other products or services that support your audience and your belief.
This frame work allows you to always keep the core message front and centered with your brand expansion and promotion. As long as new opportunities, approaches, ideas, and or products fit within the framework you will stay true to your message.
