THE 6 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT BUILDING A BRAND

After all these years in business I can tell you with great certainty that there are 6 things you must know about building a brand. And you MUST know before you ever work with me.

  1. Quick, but not instant. It takes 13 hours to build a Toyota and 6 months to build a Rolls-Royce. When it comes to your building your brand, I would much rather help you build the “Rolls-Royce” of your industry than just another one off copy cat.

  2. Branding is not the ultimate “to do” list to getting known. I start with my time tested and real world proven success system and use this knowledge to create your personalized brand strategy. Branding is about knowing the right people, resources, and connections. That’s why our Little Black Book of tried and true vendors who do amazing work, speak the juju brand language, execute on time and on budget is available to all of our clients.

  3. I am not Walmart (and nor should your brand be.) I am not the low price leader because I am not interested in mass production. I am interested in customized, tailored, “get you truly noticed” results.

  4. Strategies are great, but not everything. Strategies are great guidelines, but it is the relationships we build (and the experiences we have) that bring us your ultimate brand’s glory.

  5. You influence your brand’s success more than you know. Yes, you and your peeps are a highly integral part to your brand. You bring the heart of your brand to life. That’s why I don’t believe in working outside of your ethical and authentic realms. It doesn’t matter how “effective” a conversion technique may be, if you feel icky and slicky about it- it won’t work for your brand. Period.

  6. Guru systems don’t work. Success road maps of “do it my way” don’t work. You are not the guru. Your brand is not their brands. Plus the timing, societal consciousness, expectations, industry standards, perceptions, and assumptions all have shifted and are no longer (if ever were) the same.

Branding is never one and done. Just like you, your brand is an evolution. You will never and should never be done with your visual, verbal, experiential messages.
